The Job
A big renovation on Cedric Street had stripped the walls and ceilings across an open-plan living area. A large area of ceiling needed new sheets, then flushing, which means filling the joins and screw holes with plaster compound. The floor and the built-in cabinets were still a building site.
What We Did
We worked across the rooms next to each other, on the ceiling boards and on the plasterboard lining the walls. We taped the joins, put on the first coats of compound and patched the screw points. That got everything ready for sanding, sealing and painting.
